The Escalon Transmission Warranty—FAQs
We get questions all the time since we introduced our 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty program at Escalon Transmission. We appreciate the questions and we are always happy to provide our customers with the answers they need. We believe in honest, upfront service and helping our customers make informed decisions regarding their vehicles and our transmission repair recommendations. Here is a list of the most common frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the Escalon Transmission 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty:
Which Services Are Backed by This Warranty?
This is an important first question because the transmission repair service you receive will make a difference on the warranty coverage. Almost all repair and maintenance services provided by Escalon Transmission will be covered by parts and labor warranties. Each program may be a little different depending on the extent of the service we provide and what coverage is provided by the parts manufacturers. The 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty at Escalon Transmission applies specifically to full custom transmission rebuilds that we perform in-house at our Escalon shop. When we rebuild and reinstall a transmission for your vehicle, it will be backed by this industry-leading warranty program.
Please note that if you get a different transmission repair service at Escalon Transmission, our service team will properly explain any specific warranty details related to the parts and labor provided for that particular service.
What is Covered by the Warranty?
Because this warranty applies specifically to transmission rebuilds performed by the Escalon Transmission team, it covers any transmission-related issues that may arise after the service is complete. If your transmission fails again, develops a fluid leak or has any other problems that are affecting the rebuilt transmission, you bring your vehicle back to Escalon Transmission. We will perform a thorough inspection and run tests to determine and fix the problem.
If the rebuilt transmission or a replacement part is to blame, we will take care of the issue free of charge. If it is another problem that isn’t related to the rebuilt transmission or work we had done previously, we will let you know the recommended repairs and any additional costs that may be involved. Just know that if your rebuilt transmission is acting up, we stand behind our original service and provide the warrantied repairs as necessary.
How Much Does the Warranty Cost?
The 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty is automatically included with our transmission rebuild service. When you have your transmission rebuilt at Escalon Transmission, you get this warranty coverage at no additional charge.
How Long is the Warranty Coverage?
We put this in the name to make it easy to remember. The warranty lasts for up to 3 years (36 months) or 100,000 miles after the original transmission rebuild is completed—whichever comes first.
Is Extended Warranty Coverage Available?
No, we currently do not offer extended warranties beyond the included 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty. The rebuilt transmission should last for many years beyond the warranty if it is properly maintained. Some individual parts may come with longer warranties and extended coverage options provided by the manufacturer. Our coverage only covers the 3 years or 100,000 mile period after the service.
